I have my work screen to have the same background as soft proofing. I also have the Gamut warning checked and the ICC profile for my lab for viewing. Everything there should be good to go. One thing I did was ask the lab for a test print to make sure that my images are what they see.
Ps. I generally "speak in LR" as it's the lowest common denominator but if anyone wants to know anything about C1 or a few other pieces of software I am generally adept with quite a few popular and not so popular RAW processors

I too have my BG white on my "working screen" in both LR and also C1 as I use that for most of my RAW post processing.
