small prints for editorial consideration
I don’t need to display every print selected for the final project. A subset will do with maybe a suplemental album or magazine/catalog.

We often talk about the editorial process and curation. I had a six-part series that traced the evolution of a small project. I had numerous discussions about the editorial process in the context of putting a book or magazine together. There are probably a dozen more newsletters we’ve published that discuss the topic of image curation.

The editorial work and time you put into curating your work is not just for those working on a book, a magazine, or a project portfolio. It’s certainly not only for those in the process of curating a large solo exhibition. Look around your home and visualize your rooms and walls as an exhibition space. Then treat them as such.
