I was recently asked by local community organizers to put together a retrospective of my work for display in a grand, sprawling space.
I agreed to do the exhibition and now that we're in the midst of the preparation work, I’ll summarize here what an exhibition entails.
I decided to structure this DIY differently from my others. Rather than describing what to do, I'll describe what I did to prep for the gallery show. If you pair this newsletter with my book, The Art of the Gallery Show, you'll have a fine-tuned approach to landing and making the most of your own photo exhibition.
