Mounting your prints for display nowadays can be a complicated process. By that I'm referring to the enormous increase in new and creative ways to display photographs. Just making a decision on how to display prints on or off a wall requires one to explore a plethora of options.
In this DIY I'll address a mainstay issue that comes up in emails and comments from our wonderful Substack community - affixing a print to a substrate using dry mounting tissue.
Supplies Needed
Dry mount press (or a dry clothes iron!)
print weights (or old sock filled with BBs)
Backing board (Gatorboard, heavy-duty mat board or other substrate)
